STV2

Since 2014 STV has bidded for and won all licences to broadcast local television in Scotland. In September 2016 STV were awarded three additional licences: Aberdeen, Ayr and Dundee.

STV2 will launch at 5pm on Monday 24th April. Coinciding with the rebrand, STV will launch STV News Tonight, a new flagship news bulletin, bringing together Scottish, UK and international news reports from STV and ITV News in one programme for the very first time. The 30 minute programme will air on weeknights at 7pm on STV2 and streamed live on the STV Player.
