On 10th March 2014, Bid rebranded into ‘Shop at Bid’ – a rebrand that was made with the viewers at the heart of what they do. The new format includes a fixed price dynamic which sees the disappearance of the falling prices which have been part of the channel since 2005. A new premium rate number has also been introduced which now costs 20p per minute as opposed to the previous £1.53. In terms of the buying process, viewers now speak to an advisor once they purchase an item and do not require a call back.
