Channel 4 News is the main news programme on British television broadcaster Channel 4. It is produced by ITN, and has been in operation since Channel 4’s launch in November 1982.

A new look for Channel 4 News was launched in 1990. In early 1993 the Channel 4 logo on the news titles was updated to mirror that used for the idents.

Titles and presentation were relaunched, along with the rest of Channel 4, on 31 December 2004.
Channel 4 News refreshed its on screen presentation on 11 January 2010.
Channel 4 News unveiled a new studio set and graphics on 7 November 2011. The programme also moved to double-headed presentation, after trialling the format for a few weeks pre-launch.
